We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life. — Romans 6:4You were buried with Christ by baptism into death, so that just as He was raised, you too might walk in newness of life. The imperative rests on the indicative: you have died, and a new creation has come. Don't let the world squeeze you into its mold—be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You used to walk in futility; now put on the new self, created after God in true righteousness.
