Morning — December 24 — Romans 8:13

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. — Romans 8:13"if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live". The works of the flesh are evident, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The grace of God trains us to renounce ungodliness and live godly lives. The spirit doesn't just help you kill sin — he grows fruit in its place.
