Morning — February 13 — Ezekiel 1:26

Above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne with the appearance of sapphire, and on the throne high above was a figure like that of a man. — Ezekiel 1:26The presence of a human figure upon the sapphire throne confirms that the God of Israel has permanently united Himself to our nature. This union ensures that our representative now reigns in the heavenly realms with the fullness of deity dwelling in Him bodily. Because He remains the God-Man, our access to the Father rests on His ongoing mediation, once dead, now alive forevermore.
