Morning — February 26 — Lamentations 3:40

Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD. — Lamentations 3:40Honest self-examination is the path by which God brings our hidden failures into the light of His grace. When we confess, we are receiving the forgiveness that Christ has already secured for us. This makes the search of our hearts a gift, and each honest look points us back to the advocate who cleanses us.
