Morning — January 21 — John 15:2

He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. — John 15:2The Father’s sovereign hand in sanctification ensures that every hardship serves a specific purpose in the believer’s life. This intentional process confirms the reality of our adoption rather than signaling divine abandonment. By aligning our hearts with His purpose, we find that even the most painful seasons are designed to cultivate a deeper reliance on His grace.
