And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. — Romans 5:5Hope does not put us to shame. Not because we're hopeful enough, but because the object of our hope is reliable. Those who wait for the Lord will not be ashamed. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord—he won't be anxious in drought. Hope as an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast, entering the inner veil where Jesus has gone as our forerunner.
