Morning — July 16 — Exodus 19:6

And unto Me you shall be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to speak to the Israelites.” — Exodus 19:6Waiting is hard on the soul. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes it's a tree of life. Abraham waited years for Isaac; Israel waited generations for the Messiah. The waiting isn't wasted — it's where God teaches you to trust Him rather than the gift. And the desire that finally came in Christ is a tree of life with fruit that never runs out.
