Morning — June 29 — 1 John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, — 1 John 5:3That sounds impossible until you realize who's writing and to whom. John is writing to those who've been born of God. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. When you love Him, obedience isn't a weight — it's a delight. This is His commandment: that we believe in Jesus Christ and love one another.
