Morning — March 22 — Genesis 13:10-11

And Lot looked out and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan, all the way to Zoar, was well watered like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) — Genesis 13:10-11Human perception often mistakes earthly prosperity for God's blessing, drawing the heart into alliances that weaken its spiritual integrity. God maintains the moral order of the world, ensuring every choice produces a harvest that matches its seed. His mercy and justice work together, delivering the righteous and condemning what corrupts. Every rescue in Scripture foreshadows the greater deliverance in Christ, who saves sinners from the judgment their own choices deserve.
