Morning — March 24 — Genesis 15:6

Abram believed the LORD, and it was credited to him as righteousness. — Genesis 15:6Faith receives righteousness as a gift from God, not because of what we do. That gift comes through Jesus, who died and rose to secure it. So we stand before God on the strength of Christ's work, not our own record. This makes the whole Christian life a response of trust in God's faithful promise.
