Morning — March 25 — Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5God says,'I will never leave you nor forsake you'. That's a double negative in the Greek — literally'I will never, no never leave you. Jacob got that promise at Bethel, Moses passed it to Joshua, and Paul saw it fulfilled when everyone deserted him but the Lord stood by him. Though my Father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me in. I am with you always, to the end of the age. I am the living One — I was dead, and behold, I'm alive forevermore.
