Morning — March 5 — Isaiah 38:14

I chirp like a swallow or crane; I moan like a dove. My eyes grow weak as I look upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; be my security.” — Isaiah 38:14True security comes only when the soul releases its grip on self-preservation and looks upward. Lifting eyes to God admits that He alone holds authority over human suffering. In that posture of dependence, oppression itself becomes the place where divine sovereignty meets the needy soul.
