Morning — May 18 — John 5:26

For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. — John 5:26In Christ, the life of God Himself enters human history and becomes the believer's own. Death is no longer the final word, because the Son holds life in Himself and shares it with all who trust Him. Union with the risen Savior means sharing in His victory over death now, not just at the end.
