Morning — May 7 — Matthew 24:6

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. — Matthew 24:6Because believers are hidden with Christ in God, their true identity and security rest in what Christ has already accomplished, never in the stability of world events. God governs every storm, so the upheavals of history serve His purposes and move toward the final restoration of all things. A steady heart emerges from confidence in the God who holds both the world and every believer securely in His hand.
