so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, — Colossians 1:10Paul prays that we'd walk worthy of the Lord, fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Notice the order: knowledge and fruitfulness go hand in hand. The more you know God, the more your life produces what honors him. This isn't hustle-your-way-to-holiness moralism—it's the natural fruit of a life presented as a living sacrifice. Abide in the vine and the fruit comes. The branch doesn't strain; it stays connected.
