But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, — Jude 1:20Praying in the Holy Spirit. Prayer isn't a natural thing—it's a Spirit-enabled thing. We don't know what to pray as we ought, but the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Through Christ we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. The Spirit helps us pray according to God's will, and He guides us into all truth. Even Jesus prayed in the Spirit. So when you don't have the words, when your mind is foggy and your heart is heavy, the Spirit is praying through you.
