Morning — November 9 — Psalm 89:19

You once spoke in a vision; to Your godly ones You said, “I have bestowed help on a warrior; I have exalted one chosen from the people. — Psalm 89:19I have bestowed help on a warrior; I have exalted one chosen from the people. God didn't leave us to save ourselves. He provided a helper who is mighty to save, a mediator who is both God and man. The mighty God took on flesh, was made a little lower than the angels, and tasted death for everyone. Through death he destroyed the one who held the power of death. That's the help God laid—not a system, not a philosophy, but a person.
