Morocco and Saint Lucia Strengthen Bilateral Partnerships

Morocco’s Ambassador to Saint Lucia highlighted the growing cooperation between the two countries during celebrations marking the accession of King Mohammed VI to the Moroccan throne. More than 130 Saint Lucian students have benefited from AMCI scholarships to study at Moroccan universities, including 34 currently or previously enrolled in medicine. Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. Alva Baptiste reaffirmed Saint Lucia’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Morocco in areas including sustainable development, agriculture, education and cultural exchange. The two countries are also pursuing opportunities for increased trade and investment.
