Motivation Monday: Marian Barbu on Overcoming Obstacles, Taking Charge of Your Life, Self Role-Modeling, and MORE!

from Braun Performance and Rehab · host Dan Braun

In this week's episodes of the Brawn Body Podcast (107-108), Dan is joined by Marian Barbu (@wheelzfit) to discuss his journey as a paralympic swimmer and calisthenics athlete. Marian Barbu is a paralympic swimmer for Team Canada JR and a calisthenics athlete. When he was born, he was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a disorder that made his bones so fragile that even a slight movement would have meant a serious fracture. As he grew, he fell in love with sports and since then he never let his physical incapabilities dictate what he can or what he can't do.
