Spencer and Cameron are talking all about the stuck out in space, cabin fever style horror story of Mouthwashing from 2024. An indie title on Steam where it plays out more like an interactive movie, similar to games like Soma where one really gets to interact with characters and watch the story unfold into dark and humorous madness.It's the story about a space trucking, freight team, delivering cargo across the galaxy and at about halfway into their journey, they crash into a meteor and are left stranded in space with the captain just barely alive. So, the four remaining crew members take it to themselves to pass the time and figure a way out of there.The game goes back in fourth, Tarantino style, from before the crash and after the incident and weaves together the plot with twists and turns abound. Characters at first feel like they are leaning one way then the more you know they start to change your perspective.It's more of an experience than a standard game, but what we liked about it is how this is almost like the new way to make indie films, utilizing that light bit of interactive play mechanics that gaming has to offer.
