చిన్నప్పటి నుంచే తెలుగు పుస్తకాల మధ్య పెరిగారు…ఆ పుస్తకాలే ఆయనలో సాహిత్యంపై ప్రేమను పెంచాయి!సూర్యాపేట జిల్లా, అన్నారం గ్రామానికి చెందిన శీలం భద్రయ్య గారు వృత్తిరీత్యా తెలుగు ఉపాధ్యాయులు. కానీ.. తెలుగు భాషపై ఉన్న ప్రేమతో కథలు, కవితలు, నవలలు రాస్తూ తనకంటూ ప్రత్యేకమైన గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్నారు.ఆయన తొమ్మిదో తరగతిలో ఉన్నప్పుడు జరిగిన ఓ వ్యాసరచన పోటీ.. ఆయనలోని రచయితను బయటకు తీసుకొచ్చింది. అప్పటి నుంచి కథలు, కవితలు, నవలలు, నాటకాలతో తన రచనా ప్రయాణాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. ఆయన రచనల్లో తెలుగు భాషతో పాటు.. మనుషుల జీవితాలు, గ్రామీణ నేపథ్యం, సమాజంలోని సమస్యలు కూడా కనిపిస్తాయి.‘లొట్టపీసు పూలు’, ‘ముస్తాదు’ వంటి రచనలతో పాఠకుల ప్రశంసలు అందుకున్న భద్రయ్య గారు.. సాహిత్యం సమాజాన్ని ఎలా ప్రతిబింబించాలి? తెలుగు భాషను యువతకు ఎలా చేరువ చెయ్యాలి? ఒక రచయితగా ఆయన ఎలా ఎదిగారు? తండ్రి నుంచి ఆయన పొందిన స్ఫూర్తి ఏంటి? సమాజం, మాతృభాష ఆయన రచనలపై ఎలాంటి ప్రభావం చూపాయి?ఇలాంటి ఎన్నో ఆసక్తికరమైన విషయాను ఈ వారం ‘మన రచయితలు’ పాడ్కాస్ట్ లో మనతో పంచుకున్నారు..!తప్పకుండా వినండి… మిస్ అవ్వకండి!He grew up surrounded by Telugu books from a young age… and those books slowly turned into a deep love for literature.Sheelam Bhadraiah from Annaram village in Suryapet district is a Telugu teacher by profession. But his passion for the Telugu language led him to write stories, poems and novels, helping him create a unique identity as a writer. His journey as a writer began in the 9th grade with an essay-writing competition. Since then, he has continued his literary journey through stories, poems, novels and plays. His writings beautifully reflect the Telugu language, people’s lives, rural backgrounds and issues faced by society.Through works like Lottapeesu Poolu and Musthadu, Bhadrayya has earned appreciation from readers. What should literature reflect in society? How can Telugu be made more relatable to today’s youth? How did he grow as a writer? What inspiration did he receive from his father?
