Murder on Chipman Street

Two victims in Tennessee were kidnapped in 2007, taken to a rental house where they were raped, tortured, set on fire, and murdered. Aside from local Knoxville news, nobody was talking about it. Speculation is that it’s because the victims were two young while people, and the killers were all black, major media outlets would not cover this story. I don’t know that that is necessarily true, but it’s a story that should be heard. Fox and CNN eventually did a small story, but as a whole, it’s a crime largely only known by the community where it happened. What you’re going to hear today is a reminder that evil is out there. If you get too comfortable thinking you’re safe, or you live in a nice area where bad things only happen to bad people, let this story be a reminder that these people were tortured and killed for absolutely no reason.
