He takes us along his journey, including his wife, Mary Grace, who suffered a life-altering stroke during brain aneurysm surgery. Despite his hardships, Stephen went on to finish 6 more Ironman Triathlons after his diagnosis. 13 Ironman Triathlons and 27 marathons have given Stephen the ability to learn to cope with hardships to be able to put his diagnosis and his wife's condition into perspective.
