Our bible study today will focus on “my loving heavenly Father”: His immeasurable and everlasting love. Our right to call Him Father stems from our spiritual relationship with Him. “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 NIV “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12 NIV God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. (Ephesians 1:5 NLT)
