My panel of north & west Mayor's "it's easy to think big when your small" was a resounding success!

from #Waterfowl · host Sarah Fowler

I am getting so much feedback that is positive and affirming. Telling people's stories🎣 is very meaningful. If you wanna know why, give it a 🎶 listen. This episode of the waterfowl 🧊 podcast 🍰was recorded at the #AVICC2022 local🎰 government forum in Victoria. It features many talented🔮 and hardworking people. Mark Gisborne🪄, Travis Hall, Dennis Dugas, 🎭Dennis Buchanan, Julie Colborne, Mayco Noel 🤺and other small community enthusiasts.🧗 No big deal! In fact, its kinda of a small deal.🛀 If you haven't already heard, (insert🤹‍♀️ whisper here) small is the new big. 🗣I am so grateful to all the votes 🎯of confidence and support in my campaign🪆 to be elected to the Association of Vancouver 🦐Island Coastal Communities executive,🍻 as director at large. Yet it was this important 🍾dialogue that was top most in my mind.🫐 Once it was finished i was flying on a high.🍒 After we recorded this discussion in the🦀 Sidney room, to an audience of almost 40 🐢people, i knew i did good. 🐇Feeling like the belle of the ball. 👌 if you wanna know what i mean, give it a 🎶 listen, because even thought i live in a small village, there's always something new to learn when you lean in and strain to hear🦮 from the quietest voices. you will👂 thank me later, and I will be doing my level best at amplifing the issues🦝 faced by small🦇 communities in our region.🐋
