✅My personal fitness over the past few months…

from 1 Million lbs Lost · host Jess Phillips

✅My personal fitness over the past few months… Back in January I decided I wanted to dial things in with my workouts and nutrition. In the photo on the left I was still working out and eating decent, but I was not being honest with my tracking and I also thought the weekends didn’t count as long as I ate well during the week. I would lie to myself and say I was eating well and that I was consistent enough during the week that the weekend didn’t matter. Lol  There is an only a 10lb difference between the 2 photos. And they are 6 months apart. I wasn’t focused on losing weight it was about improving my overall body composition. I was eating just below maintenance level on calories. In the photo on the right I’ve still gone on vacations, lots of dinners out, bday parties and everything else you can imagine. The only difference is I’m honest with what Ive eaten and drank.  If I have a bad day I’m eating it doesn’t turn into a bad week.  I’m pretty sure I haven’t had a perfect week of eating the whole time I’ve been paying attention to my eating, but I’ve been consistent to see some improvements. When it comes to the workouts, I workout 4 days per week, and hit minimum 10k steps per day. And if I miss a workout I don’t sweat it. I definitely could have gone faster in my cut, but I wasn’t in a big hurry. And I still want to lose another couple percent of body fat. My point is as long as you get to your goal who cares if it takes a couple of extra months.
