my600lb life Mark: podcast reaction. He CAN do it on his own! why does no one believe him!?

This one both inspired me and depressed me! I couldn't believe how negative everyone surrounding Mark was. He just wanted to try to do it himself! Now, we don't know the full story right? Why would he have signed up for this show without knowing there would be surgery involved? Did his family sign him up out of desperation? And to counteract his families actions, he decided to be stubborn and say he could do it himself? Maybe. Addiction is addiction, and this is a common tactic used to get out of getting help. On the other hand, I am one to believe anyone can do it with the right amount of motivation and SUPPORT. The lack of belief from both family members AND even Dr. Now was astounding!
