Myth: You Always Need Medication to Treat OCD

from Kris Rice Collective · host Kris Rice

Myth: You Always Need Medication to Treat OCD In Western culture it’s often the instant reaction to turn to medication to make something better, to take it away quickly. But when it comes to mental health, one thing I held from strongly from the start of our journey, was the belief that we could and would support our daughter without pharmaceuticals. I believe medication has it’s time and place, and what can be most empowering is to understand your options. And while society will often force you to believe medicine is your only option, I’m here to say that’s simply not true. If you’re curious how I’ve supported my daughter’s mental health journey, free from any medications, tune into today’s Mama Soul Care conversation. This is sure to open your eyes to another way!PS - Did this peak your curiosity? Why not download my free ebook Unstuck?
