ನಾವೇಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ!?In this episode I share my experience how Kannadigas behave in a group set up. How do they get together as friends/family - speaking the native tounge, etc.ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಇಷ್ಟ? ಪಾರಮಾರ್ಥದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿ? ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಸಂಗೀತ, ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ, ಇತರ high value assets ಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿ.The demand for a unified Kannada-speaking state gained momentum in the early 20th century, with activists like Aluru Venkata Rao advocating for linguistic and cultural consolidation. Organizations such as the Karnataka Vidyavardhaka Sangha (founded in 1890) and the Kannada Sahitya Parishat (established in 1915) played a crucial role in fostering Kannada identity and pushing for unification.By the 1940s and 1950s, political leaders like S. Nijalingappa and others intensified efforts, leading to the eventual reorganization of states based on linguistic demographics in 1956.
