2024年1月28日，湖南张家界人陈先生的小车停靠在马路边起火，陈先生和路人一起用灭火器将火扑灭，但车辆已无法使用。陈先生当即报警，警方调取行车记录仪视频和路面监控视频显示，一个小男孩一边走路边玩类似鞭炮的物体，经过陈先生的车辆时，男孩将类似鞭炮的物体丢进车辆前部的防撞梁空隙，3分钟后，车辆前部起火。但是男孩父亲却认为车主乱停车应该承担主责， 孩子还小不能苛以全责。
