La distilleria Nannoni, al contrario delle più antiche dinastie di distillatori, è nata dalla felice intuizione di Gioacchino che dette origine alla “grappa di fattoria”, ovvero un nuovo rapporto fra la distilleria ed i vignaioli; ad ogni azienda veniva riconsegnata la grappa ottenuta esclusivamente dalle proprie vinacce fresche, immediatamente distillate.
