August is National Minority Donor Awareness Month – Monica spoke with Advent Health Dr. Parikh, Our Legacy (a donor awareness organization) advocate/representative Kia Malone, along with 2 donor recipients Goddest Thrailkill and Charlyce Simmons. They shared their stories, expressed gratitude toward their donors and helped dispel rumors about minorities and organ donor information.
