National Street Lighting Upgrade Project Completed

Saint Lucia has completed the upgrade of street lighting along the island’s highways, replacing older high-pressure sodium fixtures with energy-efficient LED lights. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions and save the government millions of dollars in electricity costs, while efforts continue to address dark spots and improve lighting coverage in communities and along primary roads.
