Natural ADHD Solutions: Yana Kleyman

from What's Worthwhile - Healthy Living Motivation and Discussion · host Ramsey Zimmerman - Holistic and Natural Health Specialist, Author, and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

How can those with ADHD make food and lifestyle choices to avoid triggers and improve mood and focus?  Yana Kleyman is a functional medicine consultant and a Doctor of Pharmacy.  She began focusing on holistic natural health approaches after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder at 33 and being offered by her doctor a regimen of drugs (with major side effects that she deeply understood) and little hope for long-term health recovery.  Today Yana works directly with parents of ADHD and other neurodivergent kids to recommend practical and effective dietary and lifestyle advice to reduce toxic or detrimental exposures and to increase mental and physical improvements.  Ramsey and Yana had a broad-reaching discussion about how foods affect our bodies, the role of exercise and sleep, and how to support our natural detoxification process.  They also had a lot of laughs in a hopeful, optimistic conversation.
