After Jamie was incarcerated Emma shares how he was never the same, jail changed him so profoundly and his mental health spiraled out of control. As we continue to talk about what Emma was going through it's so very apparent how much she struggled with the loss of Jamie after he took his own life. Emma describes feeling numb and watching the world keep moving around her even though she felt numb and unable to go on.We talk about what changed for Emma when she sat by the ocean as the sun came up and something inside told her their is more to life and its time to move on and start a journey, "I don't know what that is but I just have to do something". And so began hope and with the support of family and friends Emma started to do the work. Self Love, Self Care and just the idea of hope can change the world. I am so grateful for Emma's Courage and vulnerability in this podcast and I hope that it reaches those that need it most.If you would like to give us feedback or suggest a topic for our podcast please go to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/theresiliencemovement and direct message me.Remember to subscribe and share our podcast as you never know who this could support.Support the showThe Resilience Movement explores resilience not as motivation or mindset, but as capacity the psychological, emotional, and identity foundations that allow people to perform, adapt, and sustain effectiveness through pressure, change, and adversity.Hosted by Donna Moulds, the podcast features in-depth conversations with leaders, psychologists, educators, and professionals whose work sits at the intersection of resilience, leadership, identity, and human performance.Drawing on Donna’s background in leadership, workforce development, and lived experience of navigating major life transitions, the show examines:Psychological readiness and emotional regulationIdentity, responsibility, and role transitionLeadership behaviour and cultural impactSustained performance without burnoutWhat it actually takes to adapt and rebuild when life changesThis is a considered, evidence-informed podcast for people who want to think clearly, lead responsibly, and navigate challenge without losing themselves in the process. The conversations also explore how people can develop the psychological skills required to adapt, recalibrate, and grow through change, rather than being defined or diminished by it.New episodes released regularly.Follow & Connect🌐 Website: https://theresiliencemovement.com.au 🎧 Apple Podc...
