Today we’re getting under the hood of Sara Okin Livengood a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and currently head of product at Modern Age, a healthcare company focused on proactively slowing down aging both inside and out. Sara is passionate about healthcare and was eager to enter the world of health tech after going through the birth of her daughter and seeing firsthand how women’s health is completely fragmented.Though Modern Age is her first time working in healthcare, Sara has always had a female-focused career starting with working as a buyer for Diapers.com where she focused on feeding and other baby categories. Sara spent 7 years at Refinery29, a women’s media company known for bringing taboo topics such as fertility and female spending habits to the forefront of the conversation.
