Samia Shell is an environmental justice and human rights advocate as well as a fashion model. She is an incoming environmental law student at St. John’s University School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in French from St. John’s University. Samia manifests her passion for the environment and humanity through her studies and experience in international development, environmental litigation and policy, climate change, food systems, and conservation. She is a member of YOUNGO, the Official Youth Constituency to the UNFCCC, and engages with several other environmental advocacy constituencies. Her recent advocacy has focused on the global campaign for universal recognition of the human right to a healthy and sustainable environment, in addition to serving as a member of the Intergenerational Advisory Council for the Phoenix Consultation.
