Secondly, I have a cold but I’m not hungover. Rewind to 2010, every day that ended in “y,” minus Monday’s sometimes, I woke up hungover. Now, I’m sober and I don’t wake up that way anymore but sometimes the holidays are still hard. And they’re hard for a lot of us. Especially for those of us in recovery, those who are sober, or those who are newly sober. This is a reminder to be gentle to yourself. “Don’t feel like you have to do things to make others happy.” IN THIS EPISODE Tips if you’re newly sober during the holidays. Being nice vs. being kind.
