Jackson Women’s Health Organization Supreme Court decision, Blush brought on Carolina Focella, Certified Health Education Specialist & Public Health Expert, to shed some light on abortion from a public health perspective, and to give advice on what we can do now. They discuss views on abortion over time and throughout the world, the many medical situations that require abortion, the right to choose, how the Dobbs decision disproportionately affects women of color & women from lower socioeconomic statuses, the importance of comprehensive sex education, and the overall public health effect of the Dobbs decision.
