NEHAWU challenges Ombud's findings on healthcare worker deaths.

The Health Ombud, Professor Taole Mokoena, says investigators have found no evidence that workplace bullying, victimisation or poor working conditions directly caused the deaths of six healthcare workers investigated at five public hospitals in KwaZulu-Natal. However, the Ombud says the probe uncovered serious systemic problems that require urgent government intervention. The Health Ombud's Office briefed the media on the findings of its joint investigation into the deaths of healthcare professionals at public health facilities in KwaZulu-Natal. The deaths sparked national outrage over working conditions in the public health sector. Health Ombud Professor Taole Mokoena had this to say during the media briefing. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union (NEHAWU) in KwaZulu-Natal,  its Provincial Secretary, Ayanda Zulu
