NEMO Strengthens Disaster Preparedness Through Emergency Response Workshop

The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) is strengthening Saint Lucia’s disaster preparedness by reinforcing its network of liaison officers. More than 35 representatives from public and private sector organizations participated in a tabletop exercise aimed at testing emergency operations plans, improving coordination, and strengthening business continuity. Officials emphasized the importance of regularly testing and practicing emergency plans to ensure organizations are better prepared to respond to disasters.
