Neuroscience of Gratitude and Trauma on Recovery Now with Kim Justus

from A Recovery Now · host Kim Justus

Kim and second Wednesday of the month co-host, Caren Robinson will be discussing the levels of trauma, triggers and awareness. When in the midst of a melt down, ever had a well meaning friend say, "Well just think positive!"  Not the most welcome message in that moment, when gratitude feels far away, and you're smack in the middle of flight or fight. What are some options to balance trauma with more productive and realistic options. This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me." We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers, which takes a good bit of Warrior! Hosted by Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at inaflash.org & "Like" at facebook.com/inaflash.org  For more on Caren see: hopetbi.com for some great blogs and helpful resources!
