On the night before He died, Jesus gave His disciples a newcommand – to love one another. This doesn’t seem all that new at first glance. The Old Testament law commanded God's people to love their neighbour (Leviticus 19:18) and the expert in the law knew the whole law could be summed up by “Loving God and loving people”.
