It took former Cornell University student “Jane Doe” filing a lawsuit, and outrage on social media, for prosectors to “reopen” the investigation into her allegations that 7 members of the Chi Phi fraternity drugged and gang raped her back in 2024. The District Attorney claims he never received the full transcript of Jane Doe’s interview with campus police, and says this new lawsuit makes claims that were not made during the initial investigation.
