New HIV Vaccine shows promise

Mississippi has one of the highest rates of new HIV diagnoses in the country, and the majority of the state’s prevention efforts are funded with federal dollars. Researchers shared this week that they tested a vaccine that may help prevent people from developing H-I-V infection and AIDS.
