New Year Resolution fail ಆಯ್ತಾ, ಬೇಜಾರೇಕೆ?
from SatisHFactionKannada Podcast from the US · host Satish Hosanagara
It's ok! Studies show that about 80% of New Year's resolutions fail by mid-February. Only less than 10% of the people who make such resolutions achieve their goals by year-end.All resolutions are not the same, and some are even baseless... I am a runner, you can't just make a "resolution" that I will increase my running pace by 10% without a plan to get there... I know, how hard it is to save 1 minute in a 5K run! Also, how many people realize our body weight depends on so many factors: hormones, heridity, and more importantly our lifestyle. In this episode, I recommend avoiding resolutions that are likely to fail. Instead, focus on making minor but consistent adjustments, which can lead to meaningful and lasting change. It's okay to experience failure. Our primary obligation is not to please others but to find contentment within ourselves. As long as we are happy with who we are, that should be sufficient.
