In our age of rapid advancement in technology, social media and new technological tools are being abused to deliver misleading and fake information to the public.In order to develop the skills necessary to cut out the misinformation and get to the heart of issues affecting all of us we’ll teach you how to spot, deal with, and analyse fake news to get the most out of social media and online information. In our News Literacy workshop, you’ll be given a lesson from an external expert in the fact-checking world on dealing with fake news.
