Prior to Innomantra, he managed innovation, new product development, and intellectual property at Larsen & Toubro ( L&T), India, starting his career with the Medical Equipment and Electrical & Automation Group at L&T where he served 12 years in product design and development. At Innomantra, Lokesh has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors including Aviation, Automotive, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Information Technology, Retail, Engineering Services, Medical Electronics, Consumer Goods to name a few, in the areas of Innovation, Design Thinking, Intellectual Property and Digital Transformation. He was awarded a citation at Institute of Engineering and Technology (UK) South Asia Conference and in 50 Most Innovative Leaders at World Innovation Congress 2018. He regularly helps start-ups by mentoring, investing and, he was part of the jury at The Economic Times – Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad’s ‘Power of Ideas’ in 2013, 15 and 18. Lokesh is also a visiting professor of business innovation and creativity and Intellectual Property Management in top business schools and published several papers to his credit on Innovation in top journals, he regularly chairs and participates as a speaker in several global Innovation and IPR conferences and seminars. He has delivered guest lectures at institutions like Indian Institute of Technology’s, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, several Indian Institute of Management’s and others. He is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Marketing and PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from National Law School of India University (NLSIU).
