Nick Grossman on Bedrooms are for People after Colorado Supreme Court dismissal

In this interview, Nick Grossman of Boulder ballot initiative Bedrooms are for People, an initiative that wanted to let Boulder voters decide whether or not to change Boulder's occupancy limit, speaks on their experience after having their recent appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court dismissed. After being given incorrect deadlines for collecting petition signatures, and the Boulder City Council voting 5-4 to not place it on the ballot, Bedrooms are for People appealed to the Colorado Supreme Court. As reported by the Daily Camera's Katie Langford, after originally agreeing to hear the case on August 20th, the Colorado Supreme Court dismissed the case on August 28th. Following the dismissal, Bedrooms are for People held a march in Boulder on September 12th that, according to the Bold's Daniel Fulton, demanded the enforcement of the current occupancy laws be suspended until there is occupancy reform, and that Boulder clarifies its direct democracy laws for citizen-led ballot initiatives.
