Nidhi Kapur: Founder and CEO of Maiden Home

As a child, Nidhi Kapur constantly repainted and redecorated her bedroom, but she never thought that she would actually pursue a career in the design industry. In fact, after graduating college, Nidhi worked at major companies such as McKinsey & Company and Google before landing a role as the director of business development at the beauty subscription-box company Birchbox. But when she bought her first apartment and began the interior design process, she quickly recognized a lack of accessible and convenient custom furniture companies in the market. Soon after, she combined her longtime love of design with her deep knowledge and experience in business development to create industry disruptor Maiden Home.
